Our Team
A team hard-working staff and other leaders work together to see God's mission fulfilled at Wellspring.

Rob Imberger
Senior Pastor
Rob was saved by grace as a little one and grew up in south-eastern Melbourne. From teenager years, Rob knew God wanted him to be a pastor. Soon after finishing secondary school, Rob undertook a BTh and AdvDipMin at Ridley College, Melbourne, where he was blessed to meet and marry his beautiful wife Camille, the year before ordination and graduation in 2007.
For a few years, Rob then served as Assistant Curate at St. John's Diamond Creek, before moving to join the team at South East Bendigo Anglican Parish until 2014. Whilst in Bendigo, Rob and Camille thanked God for the arrival of their three awesome children (and now a fourth, their own little Tasmanian!). The Imbergers are loving their new adventure, and they feel confident of the Lord's sovereign leading to Wellspring Church and community. Rob commenced his role as Senior Pastor in late 2014, and continues to enjoy leading Jesus' church here.
For fun, the Imbergers variously enjoy singing, dancing, coffee, reading and the Collingwood Football Club.

Sam Gough
University & Associate Pastor
University was an influential and exciting time of growth in Sam's Christian life. He is keen for other students to experience the same thing.
Sam made a career switch from medicine to ministry. He has done many years of ministry on university campuses around Australia. He is passionate about helping people understand the Bible and connect their faith to their everyday lives.
Sam is married to Beck and they have two kids. He loves eating junk food, watching sport on tv, and wearing comfortable trackies."

Noel Bowditch
Pastor
Noel has been serving at Wellspring since early 2019. In addition to his normal role as Assistant Minister with responsibility for the 8am congregation, he served as Locum in 2022/2023. He has experience in both rural and urban ministry, school chaplaincy, church consultancy and assisting parishes in times of review and transition. He enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with family and in the garden.
He is married to Lynne. They have two adult sons (Matt and Chris) and four young grandchildren.

Lara Nairn
Administrator
Lara has grown up in Hobart and feels grateful to God to not remember a time when she didn't believe in Him. She is married to Andy and has three young children. In the past, Lara studied Science at UTAS and worked for a Tasmanian fruit export company. She enjoys cups of tea, playing music with her community band and cooking for friends.
Lara can help you with any questions you might have around the day to day activities of the church and its various ministries.
