CMS Summerview Conference

SummerView is a conference and retreat for Christians who want to be inspired and challenged through good teaching, stimulating speakers and fellowship with others to know more of God and his work in the world.

It is the perfect opportunity to learn more about global mission and be encouraged to become more actively involved in God’s work. Overseas workers T & E will be there and also Paul and Cathy Sampson from Kenya.

Bishop Richard Condie will lead the Bible studies to teach and challenge us with “Mission Lessons from the book of Nehemiah”. Ruth Pinkerton will bring a perspective and the challenge of “Mission at Home”.

Bishop Mwita Akiri from Tanzania will bring us the overseas mission perspective through the theme “A Growing Church: partnering with the Tanzanian church today” Looking at issues like the effect of secularism, poor theology and the prosperity gospel on the future of Christianity.
