About Us

The name CrossEyed was chosen because it explains that we have our eyes on the cross. This is important because we believe that it is through the cross that Jesus had victory over sin, and because of this we can have a friendship with God.

We don’t believe that being a Christian is a boring way of life where we play games for little kids and drink cordial on a Friday night. We believe that being a Christian, having a friendship with Jesus, doesn’t have to be boring, or stuffy. And we also reckon that Jesus is relevant to us, young people, not just our grandparents or parents.

So I want to invite you to CrossEyed in 2012. Exciting things will be happening this year, and I want to invite you and your friends to be a part of our program. We will have heaps of opportunities to get to hang out and form real friendships as well as getting involved in a whole bunch of exciting activities along the way.

So I hope that you can be a part of CrossEyed this year.

All leaders regularly attend services at Wellspring, and are members of Bible study small groups. Throughout the year we attend training sessions and regular discussions to revise the aims and strategies of the groups. CrossEyed is a Wellspring Community and is always looking for new members, whether leaders or youth.
All the leaders are Safe Ministry Accredited, and have had police and reference checks and interviews. For more information on the Safe Ministry process, check here.
