Womens Ministry

Based on Titus 2:3-5, T2 Mentoring Groups offer an opportunity for women to encourage and learn from each other about everyday life issues, support one another to grow in godliness, and to pray for each other.

T2 is for women of all generations – a chance to share wisdom and experience, love and encouragement.  T2 hopes to serve as a means by which genuine, holy, and lasting relationships can be formed between women within and across generations.

T2 groups meet in homes infrequently to share godly womens’ wisdom on a specific topic.  Topics that may be covered include:

·         SufferingIn what ways have you experienced suffering and how has this shaped your faith?

·         PrayerYour personal experience of prayer-what works or doesn’t work for you?

·         Singleness – How did you experience contentment and fulfilment in a world prepped for romance?

·         Kids, Contraception and God – Give us your perspective on how many and why?

·         Anger – How do you manage (or not manage) anger?

·         Loved ones not in Christ – How do you engage with your partner, parent, or child who has not yet submitted to Jesus?

·         Greed & Materialism – How do you keep a focus on God rather than consumer goods?

·         Rushing around – How did you deal with the busyness of life?

·         Forgiveness – In the pain & sorrow of life, how do you draw near to God & move toward forgiveness?

·         Marriage – What was your biggest challenge and your greatest delight in marriage?

·         Stewardship – Time, money and the environment

If you are interested in being involved and coming along to a group, or just want to find out more about it, please contact the office, or when attending one of our Sunday services, put a note on the communication slip in the notice sheet and pass it into the office.

‘Guide older women into lives of reverence so that they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness.  By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives.  We don’t want anyone looking down on God’s Message because of their behaviour.’  Titus 2:3-5 - The Message
